#Thompson machine gun muzzle brake o ring serial number
It is interchangeable with later G1 Contender frames (TC says serial number greater than 195 000) and any G2 frame. TC tells me the brake is threaded on with threads being either 1/2-28 or 5/8-24 (cannot be 1/2-28 on 45-70 BTW, but I guess TC customer service couldn’t figure that out). The barrel comes with a factory muzzlebrake, has no sights and is drilled and tapped for a scope base. These must be from factory fitting and are more pronounced in the photos though afterwards I relooked and you can see them on the barrel. As I was posting the photos I notice you can see what looks like frame/forend rub marks. New, never mounted by me, I bought it last month and decided to go in a different direction.
